The components of Health and Safety in New Orleans East are at an all time high.  With the recent opening  of a new full service hospital, in conjunction with several supporting state-of-the-art clinics, health care in eastern New Orleans is indeed following the post-Katrina mantra "Bigger, Better"!  A new multi-billion dollar levee system now provides greater Flood Protection than ever before and has restored the confidence in residents and businesses investment.  Law Enforcement received a boost with the completion of a new modern 7th District police station and enhancements are on the board for Fire Protection services as well.
