Wal-Mart Design Consultant points out features of the proposed deign. The 180,000 sq.ft. Super Center will be one of the largest built under Wal-Mart's current construction program.

Although the decision to rebuild had been made years earlier based on the population's return and projected growth, determining and contracting on the right location was a critical and time-consuming component of the process.

Landscaping and aesthetic features  are emphasized in the new design

City officials, Norman Roussell and Ernest Gethers joined Councilman Johnson  With a scheduled 2013 opening, the project will be fast-tracked - with city officials and Wal-Mart executives working closely together.
